PRODUCTIONÂ Â SCHEDULER

Please note this post is most suitable to those who have multi-site scheduler experience.
Previous experience is required: Use a Production Forecast to plan production on designated product lines. •   Provide input in the development of the weekly Production Forecast. •   Coordinate with Purchasing, Production and Shipping departments. •   Monitor schedule attainment and analyze variances. •   Maintain weekly records of Key Performance Indicators. •   Extensive knowledge of Excel including advanced level equations. •   Expertise creating Access database queries. •   SQL query knowledge •   Experience with Microsoft Office 2007. •   Visual Basic Macros knowledge an asset. •   Computer Programming experience is an asset. •   ERP systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Infor Syteline etc.) experience •   (Crystal Reports, Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services) Education/Experience •   APIC’s CPIM designation a distinct advantage •   Experience with production scheduling in an industrial setting. •   Previous experience or sound knowledge of ERP systems, in particular the production planning and inventory management modules •   Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Kanban will be an asset.
