VICE PRESIDENT OPERATIONS  (Toronto )

As a member of The firm’s Senior Management Team, the Vice President of Operations participates in decisions regarding The firm’s mission, strategic planning, capital allocations, operating budgets and operational activities.  The VP of Operations is responsible for the leadership, oversight and organizational direction of the Operations Group.  The incumbent is responsible to encourage and champion the effective management and continuous operational improvements related to Credit, Administration, and Customer Service operations.  The incumbent will secure client retention by managing The firm operations in accordance with the highest quality standards and best practices.
Education
•    A University Degree in Business Administration or in a related field.  An MBA or Master of Finance is preferred.
•    Completion of Investment Funds of Canada (IFC) or Canadian Securities Course (CSC) is required.
Experience
•    10 to 15 years financial services experience within the mutual fund, brokerage, or insurance industry.
•    10 to 15  years operations management experience in  financial services
•    Extensive credit practices knowledge and experience, and risk management expertise.
