The G.O.A. created the Oscar Fonseca, Victor Abreu and Brendon deSouza scholarships to recognize the many talents of the young people in our member community. Revisions to the award records were made in 2005, and the conditions now highlight the importance of extra-curricular involvement and volunteer contribution. Students actively involved in a wide variety of aspects at school, and beyond the classroom, are encouraged to apply.

Thank you to all applicants of the 2005 G.O.A. scholarship awards. Applications for the 2004/2005 academic year have been received and the recipient names will be announced at Viva Goa on July 29, 2006.
