KTC buses

It is good to read "CAR pool today for a better Tomorrow" pasted on most kadamba transport buses.Every bus commuter is forced to travel in OVERCROWDED buses where there is just enough place to stand only on one foot. The buses become ideal source of infection for various respiratory diseases, as the patients lack etiquette and spread their infections by coughing and sneezing right on people's faces and in such overcrowded buses almost all commuters are at risk of infection.

Can the kadamba transport authorities arrange for more number of buses so as to limit the standing passengers to less than 20? Is it possible to have separate bus from KTC to Goa Medical College Hospital only for patients? that would ease a lot of problems of sick children, pregnant women, orthopedic patients, elderly patients as they are forced to compete with others for a seat and not given any preference in todays buses.
It would be nice to display health messages at KTC bus stands.
" No smoking, no spitting"...is often displayed inside the buses, it would be nice to add....no coughing/sneezing without covering one's nose and mouth.
Buses may be provided with a bin inside for passengers without etiquette.Bus conductor to ensure that no passenger litters the road.
If we can improve our public transport and make it commuter friendly and hygienic I am sure more people will prefer public transport and help "save fuel today for a better tomorrow"
