The appeal has to be done fast to meet matching funds from the Federal Government, which ends Sept 12.

We have to put aside, at this time, any religious differences and/or past acts of discrimination , and do all we can as Catholics/Christians to help our less fortunate, suffering brethren in Pakistan.

The Goan Charitable Organization (GCO) would be willing to help in this humanitarian effort. Those wishing to donate can make cheques payable to the Goan Charitable Organization, mark them: "For the Flood Victims in Pakistan" and mail the cheques to the GCO c/o 1252 Sweetbirch Court, Mississauga, ON L5C 3R3. The GCO will ensure that Tax receipts are issued to all donors and that the money is forwarded to the Federal Government by September 12, for them to match our contributions and send the money to the Organization handling the relief work in Pakistan.
