Goa-America Heart Foundation is having a gala charity ball on Saturday, May 14, 2011 in New Jersey. Two bands, Goa Amigos from Toronto and Prism from New Jersey will be playing. Funds raised will be used to expand services by establishing an ICU/CCU and a step down unit.

Since the opening of the cardiac outpatient diagnostic clinic in mid April 2009 until Dec. 31, 2010, there were 2,108 patient visits, out of which 716 free consultations and 204 free echocardiograms were given to those unable to afford.
