George Francis Martin
(1915 – 2011)

On Saturday, December 3rd, 2011, (the feast of St. Francis Xavier) George Martin (known affectionately as ” Grandpa George”) passed away at the age of 96 years.

Grandpa George will be forever remembered by his children, Hazel (Francis), Eddie (Stella), Bosco (Avril), his grandchildren, Earl (Melissa), Andrea (David), Elaine, Alan, Daniel, Sarah, Rebecca and by his extended family and dear friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation at WARD Funeral Home on Wednesday December 7th, 2011 between 8:30am to 10:30am.

The funeral Mass will be celebrated the same day (Wednesday December 7th, 2011) at St. Peter’s Church (100 Bainbridge Ave, Woodbridge, ON L4L 3Y1) at 11:00am,

followed by the interment at Assumption Cemetery (6933 Tomken Road Mississauga, Ontario).

Reception (following burial, located across from cemetery) at RED ROSE (1233 Derry Road East, Mississauga).
