Peacefully at the Scarborough Grace Hospital on Friday, May 15, 2009 in his 79th year.

Ayres leaves behind his devoted wife Mary Rose, and his loving children; Sandra (Randy) Wetzel, Malcolm (Jolyn), Lyndon ( Elena), and Alwyn (Viveka). He will be forever missed by his grandchildren: Richard, Jasmine, Amelia, LeRoy, Roland, Wendall, Colette, Lucas, and Samara. Dear brother to Eddie, and Max (Alice).Predeceased by: sister Anne (late husband Cajetan), Olinda (late husband Marcelino), and sister-in-law Mita. Ayres will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by the rest of his family and many friends.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 & 6-8pm Wed., May 20 at the Highland Funeral Home 3280 Sheppard Ave.E., Scarborough 416-773-0933.
Funeral Mass will be held 10am Thurs., May 21 at The Church of the Good Shepherd, 21 Simonston Blvd., Thornhill.
Interment to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery
