Excerpts from Toronto Star It is with great sadness that the family announces Brendan's sudden death. Brendan passed away peacefully at the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, on Tuesday, September 27, 2005 in the company of his parents. He is the cherished younger son of Carmen and Seraph, beloved brother of David, adored grandson of Emily and the late Sylvester DeSouza, and Mel and the late Olinto Albuquerque. His aunts and uncles, Bernadette De Souza, Vanda and Richard Shadbolt, Odette and Edgar Ferrao, Yvette and Robin Youngs, Glyn Albuquerque, John and Annette Albuquerque, lovingly remember Brendan. His cousins, Ben, Stephanie, Graeme, Tom, Johnny, Rebecca and Ben have truly lost a kind, loving and caring cousin. Brendan leaves behind many grieving friends and classmates at St. Ignatius of Loyola High School and St. Bernadette Catholic School in Oakville. A Mass was held on Saturday, October 1, 2005 at Saint Matthew Catholic Church, 1150 Monks Passage, Oakville, Ontario (905-825-0219), followed by a private burial. In lieu of flowers, if desired, memorial contributions may be made to Don Bosco Mission Office, 135 Rue Don Bosco Nord, Sherbrooke, Quebec, J1L 1E5 (Attn: Rev. Fr. Edwin D'Souza). The family greatly appreciates this consideration. Condolences for the family may be offered at www.starclassifieds.com.
