LOBO, Hilarina Victorina Peacefully, at Markham-Stouffville Hospital, on July 13, 2007, at 95 years of age. Hilarina, loving wife of the late Julius, dear mother of Angela and her husband Sydney, Jacob and his wife Lynn, and Alex and his wife Bridget. Loving grandmother of Vivian and his wife Elona, Flavian and his wife Monique, Ian and his wife Marcia, Brian, Kevin, Neil, Craig and his wife Julie, Shauna, Kayleigh, and Josey. Proud great-grandmother of 4 wonderful grandchildren. Dear sister of Antoinette. Predeceased by her sister Mary. Born in Siolim, Goa, Hilarina immigrated first to Nairobi, Kenya and later to Canada to join her children. She was happiest when she was surrounded by her family. Also a source of great joy for her, were her long, daily walks. All knew her affectionately as Mai. She will be remembered for her devotion, her kindness and her feistiness. Friends will be received at the NEWEDUK FUNERAL HOME MISSISSAUGA CHAPEL, 1981 Dundas St. W. (1 block east of Erin Mills Pkwy.) on Monday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Christopher's Roman Catholic Church, 1171 Clarkson Rd. N. (south of Truscott Dr.), Mississauga on Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Springcreek Cemetery. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff of Bethany Lodge and Markham-Stouffville Hospital for their care and support.
